JLE Driver Orientation Information

JLE values your time and is committed to getting you on the road and earning as quickly as possible. To meet the demands of today's professional flatbed talent, and give you a true feeling of the JLE Culture, you will attend a three day company orientation program at our headquarters in Dunbar, PA before officially joining the JLE team as a flatbed driver. This process will give drivers a chance to:

• Obtain important onboarding information
• Complete safety and securement testing
• Meet their dispatch team
• Receive their first assignments
• And much more

JLE will pay for a driver's transportation to Dunbar, their lodging and their meals while they are at orientation. We also offer additional monetary stipends for our Company driver candidates for each day they are in class.

The Orientation Process & Schedule

Our three-day orientation begins on Monday at 08:00 AM and will run through Wednesday. Your support team will guide you through the process and get you on the road!

Success and Hospitality

• We will provide transportation to and during orientation.
• We partner with the Hilton Garden Inn for our PFT’s lodging and provide meals during the orientation program for company and Lease purchase drivers.
• Our company drivers earn orientation pay the same week we get you on the road.

JLE Center of Excellence

The JLE Center of Excellence is a 7500 sq ft classroom and lounge, stocked with driver amenities and dedicated to making your time at Orientation as efficient and comfortable as possible.

Orientation Agenda

Please note that the following orientation schedule is a brief overview of the topics that are covered during our Professional Flatbed Talent (PFT) orientation process.

Day 1

• Welcome
• Administration of preliminary exams & screenings
• JLE driver management tools
• Safety overview session
• Receive PPE
• Operations information session (topics include: time management, home-time expectations, bill of ladings, detention, drop and hook, night ops and more)
• Truck maintenance information session

Day 2

• Human resources and benefits information session
• Finalization of payroll information and additional paperwork
• Software training
• Load-securing session and examination

Day 3

• Vector training
• Meet with driver managers
• ELD training
• Finalize truck assignments and first load selections

After Completing Orientation

If drivers successfully meet the requirements of the JLE orientation program, they are eligible to be dispatched by their driver managers on their first assignments.
